SYUGA was
derived from the Japanese language which means 'the greatest beauty'.
As unique as its name, this band that comes from Bandung,
Indonesia desires nothing but the best and be unlike others in similar
category.
Already active for a total of five years in the music
industry, Syuga has been chosen to be the first Indonesian band under
KRU Music Group after a series of exhausting yet exhilarating auditions
held in Indonesia. They succeeded in proving themselves as proficient
musicians and are ready as can be to be recording artistes.
The band consists of five very talented members - Panji
(Lead Vocals), Puja (Bass Guitar), Rendy (Drums), Denna (Lead Guitarist)
and Zakki (Rhythm Guitar).
The concept of Syuga’s debut album is Free Pop.
From Track one to ten, this album covers the various concepts of rock,
ballads and keroncong and is sure to entice and intrigue listeners
and music lovers alike.
The album Dialah Aku (released on
10 March 2006) also has the potential to penetrate not just our local
Malaysian market but also the Indonesian market as well. The songs in
the album was produced with an easy listening approach and laced with
hints of matters of the hearts - love. The words used within the lyrics
are also easy to understand and is produced with a Malaysian flair.
In Bandung, Indonesia, they have performed at major
local events such as Djamu Tjap IKIP Sedjak 1962, Bandung
Teduh Cinta Bertiga, Bandung Teduh 4Us, Bandung Music
Day 1, Bandung Music Day 2 and Dago Festival.
They competed in various band competitions in Indonesia
like the 4Battle Band (Bogor) and at the Asian Beat Jawa
Barat where they won second place. They were also one of the finalists
at the Asian Beat Nasional.
Syuga's singles 8 Hari Seminggu and Etapa
goes well the listeners in this region. With the right guidance and
